One Week of Tastes
For one week, I tracked everything I ate (alone and with loved ones) and categorized it into flavor profiles.
The marks for “# of times tasted/shared meals” have the texture of a wet brush to incorporate the relationship between my tongue/taste buds to the food I ate.
As someone who is fascinated by experiencing senses through other senses, I approached this visualization by first taking an extended amount of time to eat my meals. After realy noticing what the food tasted and felt like, I assigned the tastes a color, shape, and visual texture based on how they felt on my tongue.
Every shape in the visualization is blurred - except for savory - to show that I ate that category the most throughout the week.
