The intended use of this project is to inform, explore, observe, and feel, with the hope that the audience will consider what their personal data could look and sound like–and if those representations are more accurate to their experience than words alone.
It is my hope that this representation is approachable - that seeing the way I organized my data and communicated it visually and sonically would encourage others that they can do the same.
This website has elements that are intentionally a bit frustrating to navigate. Making the viewer move the annotations that block the visualizations hints at how migraines impair normal functionality of daily life. (Unlike the viewer, I am unable to move my migraine away, but depending on the severity of pain, I could push through it and go on with planned activities.)
